Our style is simple and we are able to set up and perform almost anywhere. However, we do need a few things from our performance venues:
A "stage" . . We have been asked to perform on every size and shape of stage imaginable and many times just been given a section of floor in the front of the room. Anything will work as long as it’s big enough for several people to stand on and doesn’t have pillars or wild animals living in the middle of it.
. . in a kinda dark room . . We’ve performed outside in the middle of the day on the beach, so such things are possible, but it makes our stage lights not work right and confuses us a lot. Fth likes a room that’s at least fairly dark when the lights are off.
. . with an hour to set up . . We’ve tried to get faster, but getting our equipment up and getting ourselves ready requires at least an hour of our running around like headless chickens.
. . and a couple of outlets . . Fth comes equipped with our own light and sound equipment so all we need is a place to plug in. In large auditoriums, we can connect our sound system to the house system, but we can only use our own lights as no one in Fth is smart enough to figure out someone else’s.
. . and that’s it. We have been blessed enough to receive funding from our own congregation as well as from many of the places we perform and as such have been able to perform without charging. If you are able, we are always happy to accept donations to help cover our travel expenses and ever-malfunctioning equipment.
